Johan Jordaan's fascination with photography became apparent at a very early age. What started out as a hobby during his school years, steadily progressed to a full time career as professional photographer after the completion of his studies in Photography at the Central University of Technology (Free State).

As a full-time photography student, he gained extensive technical and academical knowledge about the art of photography. Studying photography gave Johan the opportunity to conciliate his love for photography with its technical execution, by introducing him to crucial photographic principles, like darkroom development techniques, digital and studio photography.

Today, Johan's professional photographic services are in high demand - although not all of his work is done for commercial gain. His pure love for photography drives him to photograph any subject matter he finds interesting, at any given time. This resulted in a variety of works, roughly divided into the sections you will find below.
